Jennifer Peek.
Just can’t wait to get on the road again.
Senior Principal  /  Executive Director, Infrastructure Group
In Six: A song lyric for every occasion.
Roots / Alma Maters: Naples, Florida / Vanderbilt University, University of Virginia (but her only allegiance is to Vanderbilt…go, Commodores!)
Forte: Throughout her 20-year career (entirely at Walter P Moore), Jennifer has been regularly promoted to distinguished leadership roles — first as the Managing Director for Traffic Engineering in Houston and later serving dual roles as the Director of Traffic Engineering (for all offices) and the Operations Manager for the Infrastructure Group. Having recently transitioned to Executive Director of the firm’s Infrastructure Group, Jennifer now oversees the group’s various regional, national, and international practice areas and directs the strategic, long-term initiatives of the business unit.
If she weren't an engineer...: “I’d probably be a teacher, but I think it would be really fun to be a travel agent, as long as I get to go on all of the trips prior to booking clients!” And incidentally, she could definitely qualify as an agent for Disney — she’s travelled to a Disney park at least once a year for the past 12 years, including Disney World, Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, and the Disney cruise.
Most memorable moments at WPM: Spending time with other people and their families at company events — softball games, company picnics, bowling team, heart walks, 75th and 85th anniversary parties, etc. We spend many hours working hard together, so it’s nice to have fun together as well.

This transition allows him to engage more deeply with clients and within the community, and to mentor the firm’s multiple generations of future leaders. Edwin has long been a steadfast community advocate, and throughout his career has contributed to the success of many areas around Houston such as the Texas Medical Center, Uptown Houston, and the decades-long, continuing redevelopment of the city’s downtown and Midtown districts.
The best advice he’s received: “Support your community above all else.” — Walter P. Moore, Sr.
If he weren’t an engineer, he would: “be teaching a practice-based curriculum to graduate students.”
