"It is hard to believe that it has been 20 years since Peter Senge published his ground breaking book, The Fifth Discipline, and introduced the concept of the learning organization to the corporate world. Senge introduced five “learning disciplines” for organizations – systems thinking, personal mastery, mental models, shared vision and team learning. While his work has spawned a “new type of management practitioner,” it takes some study to become one.
