"Unique architecture and traveler-friendly amenities have made Tampa International Airport (TPA) an award-winning facility. Its well-situated central location gives travelers easy access to desired destinations. TPA is expected to serve nearly 30 million annual passengers by 2025.
Expanded parking capacity is critical to TPA’s strategic plan to serve the public. The Economy Garage, a six-level 5,600 space structure, is a part of this plan. It is still rare at airports for economy parking to be housed in a garage -- typically this is provided as remote surface lots. The Economy Garage was primarily designed for the traveling public with a minimum of a three-day stay, but it serves any customer who wants the safety and comfort of covered parking with direct shuttle bus connection to the Terminal Complex. It is also a low-cost parking alternative to the terminal parking facilities.
