HOUSTON/DALLAS – Building Design & Construction has named Vicki Ford, P.E., as one of 40 rising young professionals in the AEC industry. From among 275 outstanding entrants, the magazine’s editors chose Ford as one of “40 Under 40.” She was featured along with the other 39 winners in the January 2008 issue of Building Design & Construction.

Ford is a principal in WALTER P MOORE’s Dallas office, and specializes in structural renovation of historic buildings and complex 3D structures. She was one of 12 young leaders appointed to the firm’s Vision 2014 and serves as an in-house mentor for young engineers as well as a faculty member for firm’s FastStart program for graduate engineers. Two of her recent projects include the Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas and the Palazzo Resort Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
