Igloo Warehouse and Production Facility

For the Igloo Products Corporation production and warehouse facilities, we met the challenge of not increasing runoff over previously existing amounts, even though the majority of the developed site is impervious. The project was designed in four weeks.

Of the 55 acres that were developed, 45 were impervious: a 20-acre building and 25 acres of paving. The $440-million project has approximately 500 feet of combined drainage ditch and a large box culvert linking the north and south detention ponds. Intricate headwall structures and a large outfall control structure are also on site.

We prepared the drainage/detention report, provided construction administration, analyzed the water reservoir for fire demand and re-designed the sanitary sewer plant. We also provided site and land development, detention ponds, parking lot and all infrastructure to serve the site.
