A HEADQUARTERS UPGRADE

RADIOSHACK WORLD HEADQUARTERS RIVERFRONT CAMPUS
FORT WORTH, TEXAS

Numerous amenities, interesting uses of technology and a LEED® Silver certification make this 900,000-square-foot world headquarters a perfect fit for a national consumer electronics firm.

The 38-acre master-planned site is located along the Trinity River in downtown Fort Worth. The campus’ new workspace environment includes three multi-level office buildings and three low-rise connector buildings. A central commons building provides employee amenities such as a conference and training center, broadcast studios, a fitness center and a cafeteria.

The office and commons buildings are constructed of cast-in-place, post-tensioned concrete, while structural steel was used for the connector and the retail buildings.

The project's many signature items include the commons building's entry rotunda and the retail building’s 30-foot high curved cantilever wall. The project also includes a 2,400-space parking garage.
