“Phantom and The Las Vegas Spectacular” has been named Las Vegas' number one show of the year by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
We provided structural engineering services for this 1,800-seat performing arts theater, which is located in The Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino and is the permanent home to the Las Vegas production of The Phantom of the Opera. The $40-million, 70,000-square-foot theater boasts special effects including an on-stage lake and an exploding replica of the Paris Opera House chandelier.
Due to the requirements for a new large stagehouse, the original superstructure and foundations were strengthened to support heavy loads from the thick walls and gridiron.
