THE SOUTH SIDE OF “THE INTERSECTION OF INNOVATION”

This pedestrian friendly, mixed-use development for Georgia Tech encompasses a three-block area in midtown Atlanta. It is the nexus of a high tech corridor and the anchor for redevelopment in the area.

Our design services for all components of the project included:

• The 136,000-square-foot Global Learning and Conference Center, including the Continuing Education Center and the Economic Development Institute,
• The 181,000-square-foot LEED® Silver-certified College of Management, including the Executive Education and Interdisciplinary Centers,
• The 252-room Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center
• The 50,000-square-foot Barnes & Noble @ Georgia Tech bookstore, and
• A 1,500-space parking deck

A reconfigured pedestrian/traffic bridge at 5th Street provides a significant link between the Tech campus and the heart of Midtown.
