Formerly Houston Pavilions, GreenStreet is one of the first and largest mixed-use developments in downtown Houston with retail, dining, entertainment, and office space. Covering three city blocks, the second and third levels of GreenStreet are connected by sky bridges providing unencumbered access throughout the development. Other improvements are a central courtyard greenspace and pedestrian-friendly streetscapes.
Walter P Moore provided engineering conceptual cost estimates for the original development, Houston Pavilions. These estimates were used to negotiate incentives that made the project viable. We obtained air and vault rights for the sky bridge connections, access ramps and stairs, and private utilities located in the public right-of-way, and provided services to fast track the review process with all of the necessary agencies. Other services included traffic control plans, site circulation options review, and utility relocations and site design.
