TAKING LUXURY TO NEW HEIGHTS

The Palazzo Resort - Hotel - Casino
Las Vegas, Nevada

How do you stand out in Vegas? Even with site constraints and FAA height limitations, our client has a new high-class resort that welcomes guests with a 60-foot glass-domed lobby, two-story fountains and a towering octagonal structure, topped by a glass and steel dome.

This new $1.6-billion resort adjacent to the Venetian Casino Resort earned a LEED® Silver rating due in part to the recycled content of 70,000-plus tons of structural steel. The Palazzo is the largest LEED® certified building in the world.

The 50-story luxury hotel tower has 3,025 suites, including 375 concierge-level suites and six spacious villas. The Palazzo features a 105,000-square-foot casino, 375,000 square feet of upscale shopping, world-class dining and entertainment, and 450,000 square feet of meeting and conference space.

Walter P Moore met the challenge of stacking this complex, multi-use building above a below-grade, 4,500-space parking garage. And we provided significant cost savings by creating a Building Information Model that detected spatial interferences between structure, utilities and finishes prior to construction.
