Electronic Incident Management Log

We developed an electronic Incident Management (IM) Log in Microsoft Access to assist the Uptown Houston District in the detection and recovery of area incidents. The IM Log automates the process of TOC operators entering and tracking incident-related information. A report can be instantaneously emailed to supervisors and engineers notifying them of the incident, its impacts, and its recovery. The IM Log also allows summary data to be automatically collected and reported. The Log is user-friendly and used in monthly operations meetings as a tool for analysis, planning and improvement.
