We provided civil engineering services for site design of this redevelopment project of multi-family urban residences. Walkability is enhanced by retail on the first floor with apartments above.

As urban redevelopment occurs, density increases. Our engineers collaborated with the design team and public officials to help create a pedestrian-friendly urban environment. Retail on the first floor, with reduced building setbacks, provides an urban, almost downtown-like feel. On-street parking provides easy access to the retail and the apartment complex. Secure parking is provided partially below ground. Our design included pavement, water, wastewater, storm drain, and franchised utility upgrades and relocations. We also designed streetscape, grading and on-site drainage. Services included streetscape design and zoning assistance.
