Ybor City Gem

The Fernando Noriega Jr. (Palm Avenue) Garage

The 1,240-space Palm Avenue Garage serves the needs of the Ybor City campus of Hillsborough Community College during the day and the Ybor City entertainment district during nights and weekends.

This 4-level, 465,000-square-foot facility is located on two separate city blocks in the heart of Ybor. The two detached parking structures are linked together by two 2-story steel truss bridges, which span across 9th Avenue. The surrounding sidewalk, shops and promenade area create a comfortable urban space, unique to a parking structure of this size.

The precast concrete facility is designed to accommodate two future levels in a 600-space vertical expansion. Multiple entrance/exit areas will allow a large portion of the garage to remain open during the future expansion and provide maximum marketing flexibility for existing operations.
