Convenient and Multifaceted Campus Parking

Parking Garage No. 3 is a 962-space garage that is nestled adjacent to two existing bluffs on the campus of the University of Kansas Medical Center.

The five-story, cast-in-place post-tensioned concrete structure features two pedestrian bridges and a vehicle bridge that allow for safe and convenient movements. The four-bay garage has a contiguous two-bay middle ramp system, that allows for horizontal elevations on all exterior sides, which feature brick inlaid precast panels to match many of the buildings on the campus. Entrance and exit lanes are located at level one, and at the fifth level vehicular bridge.

The public 36-inch storm sewer and the 18-inch sanitary sewer lines were rerouted between the garage and the existing bluff. We helped obtain easements for the relocation of these two major utility lines.
