The Northeast's newest convention facility is the key component in the Adriaen's Landing development that has revitalized downtown Hartford’s waterfront, with its prominent location overlooking the Connecticut River.

This 540,000-square-foot facility features a 180,000-square-foot exhibit hall, with 60,000 square feet of meeting rooms and ballroom space above. We used a two-way truss system above the 90-foot-by-90-foot bays of the exhibit hall to dampen ballroom floor vibrations caused by dancing, aerobics and other activities.

Special features include an impressive vaulted concourse and a landscaped pedestrian esplanade that provide views of the river and downtown skyline and provide access from the adjacent hotel, and entertainment and retail district.

Parking for 3,000 cars is provided in a two-level parking deck below the convention center and in an adjacent 8-level parking deck.
