Our structural engineering services for this children’s research center help make its facilities more efficient and user friendly and creates a more unified campus.
The $24-million, 147,500-square-foot, nine-level tower is one of only a few children’s research centers in the nation. Facilities include research clinics on the second, third and fourth floors and research wet labs on the fifth through eighth floors. Administration and retail space are located on the first floor.
The Batchelor Children’s Center consolidated the clinical and wet laboratory research functions of the Department of Pediatrics into one location, located on the Research Quadrangle.
