Bush Intercontinental Airport Automated People Mover Phase 3
Houston, Texas
The Houston Airport System's planned extension of the Bush Intercontinental Airport Automated People Mover (APM) from Terminal B to Terminal A will follow the alignment of the north terminal road.
The piers supporting the APM are being designed to minimize conflict with the terminal road. Construction sequencing will require encroachment on the roadways and will require lane closures or detours. Our traffic services include analysis of the impact of lane reductions at various times of day, days of week and times of year. Decisions on traffic control and construction scheduling will be based on thorough knowledge of the impact of construction on traffic.
