Hermann Park Traffic Management

Walter P Moore is providing traffic engineering and parking consulting services for the Hermann Park Traffic Management project.
Traffic engineering services include a review of the current traffic and parking patterns at Hermann Park. Recommendations will then be provided to improve traffic management and operations on average, high, and over-capacity days.
The traffic engineering scope includes data collection, needs assessment, analysis of improvement options, and preparing a final report. The needs assessment portion will include a design charrette with all stakeholders. Parking consulting scope includes a supply and demand study, analysis of parking operations, and economic analysis.
The project requires extensive coordination with all stakeholders which include Hermann Park, the Houston Zoo, the Houston Museum of Natural Science and Miller Outdoor Theater.
