Options included assessing the existing two-lane street, a four-lane boulevard, a four-lane street with a continuous two-way left turn lane, and a six-lane boulevard. We recommended the four-lane boulevard with left turn bays at intersections. We determined traffic signal needs at three existing unsignalized intersections.
After the conclusion of the study phase, we developed a three-phase construction sequence, traffic signal design, signing and pavement marking plans and a signal interconnect plan.
