Senior Network Analyst

Responsibilities
Our WPM Technology Team is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Analyst to join us. At WPM Technology, we tackle some of the most difficult obstacles in the AEC industry. Our comprehensive range of services includes IT managed services, consulting, cybersecurity, custom software development, and immersive digital project collaboration. Responsibilities in this position will include:
- You will implement a wide variety of IT solutions with assistance from the rest of our experienced professionals
- Deploying and monitoring advanced networking solutions including SD-WAN, Firewalls and remote access solutions across a global footprint
- Testing and deployment of collaboration solutions including cloud based virtual desktops, global file shares and proxies/zero-trust techniques to facilitate easier access for remote work
- Maintenance of existing Private and Public Cloud services including Virtual Desktops with full GPU support, Azure AD, Teams, etc.
- Maintenance of existing Windows Infrastructure – Active Directory, Group Policy, Intune, SQL, etc.
- Present information in a clear manner to internal, client and public audiences
Qualifications
Key attributes of the successful candidate
- 6-8 years’ experience in a related environment (multi-site, multi-country network with thousands of devices)
- Advanced level knowledge in at least three of the following areas:
- Knowledge of routing protocols, routing, switching
- Experience with multi-vendor networks (Cisco, Meraki, PaloAlto, VeloCloud, Fortinet, Ubiquiti, SonicWALL and more are relevant)
- Wireless design and configuration
- Layer 7 firewall management
- SD-WAN configuration and troubleshooting
- Remote access technologies utilizing zero trust architecture techniques – application proxies, identity management, device compliance, role-based network ACLs
- Architecture and equipment specifications for different size customers and price points from small to very large networks.
- Azure AD identity management experience, including context aware MFA and password self-service
- Security – Endpoint Detection and Response, alert management, awareness of Threat Actors and TTPs
- Virtualization – Servers, Virtual Desktops with Graphics, Network Devices, DR and runbooks
- Endpoint Management – at scale and with client systems scattered around the world
- Deep OS architecture knowledge
- A desire for continuous learning
- Configuration Management at scale – Infrastructure as Code
- Scripting experience – PowerShell, python or other
- Strong communication skills
- Customer service commitment, Business Partner
Other useful experience would include:
- Prior experience in an IT consulting position is helpful but not required
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Relevant certifications – GIAC, Microsoft, Cisco, others
- Report writing skills
- Training in intrusion detection, incident response with targeted forensics, threat intelligence, managing security awareness and vulnerability management programs
- Auditing of existing networks for external customers
- Experience in the Architectural/Engineering/Construction sector
- Experience with PKI – certificate creation, signing
