Chris is an engineer and registered architect in the Diagnostics Group of Walter P Moore, with a special focus in building enclosure consulting. Chris’ experience in the field of forensic engineering, since 1998, has included evaluating and designing repairs for distress related to a wide variety of façades, structures, building enclosures, roofing systems, and substrates. Chris uses his design background to collaborate with architectural teams on new construction and restoration and renovation projects. Combining his expertise, his current role working on building enclosures is a mixture of architectural aesthetic intent and technical performance, which incorporates structural engineering and architectural design.

How does what you do make a difference in the world?
Buildings are not just designed for utility but have an important social purpose and I am proud to be involved in their making.
If you had to choose a different career, what would it be?
A teacher.
What other hobbies/activities do you enjoy?
Rocking climbing, hiking, or just about anything outside.
