David VanDommelen
David VanDommelen, AIA
David is a Senior Project Manager in Walter P Moore's Atlanta Diagnostics Group. With more than a decade of experience in forensic architecture. He specializes in building enclosure systems including EIFS, stucco, brick masonry veneer, horizontal and vertical sidings, fenestrations, sealants, moisture management, roofing assemblies, and waterproofing.
Additionally, David has expertise in various market sectors including commercial and residential. He has managed and conducted multiple building enclosure investigations, property condition assessments, deficient construction reports, and building code and manufacturer research for construction litigation support. David is an active subcommittee secretary for ASTM Committee C24 on Building Seals and Sealants, and has served as the 2019 President of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Greenville chapter.
