Herbert Vaca

Herbert is a Senior Project Manager at Walter P Moore's Los Angeles Structural Group, with more than two decades of experience in structural engineering. He specializes in the evaluation and retrofit of existing buildings in all phases of projects from design to construction.

In addition, Herbert has expertise in various market sectors including, healthcare, education, and residential. He is skilled in various structural systems including moment frames, concentric and eccentric braced frames, bucking restrained braces frames, shear walls, energy dissipation, and base isolation. Herbert also performs seismic design and evaluation utilizing linear or non-linear analysis procedures.
