Mohammed is a Team Director of Walter P Moore's Houston Infrastructure Group, with more than one decade of experience in planning, design, safety, analysis, and construction. He specializes in traffic engineering and operations studies, traffic operations design, ITS planning and design, bicycle and pedestrian facilities development, and roadway design. 

In addition, Mohammed is an expert in various market sectors including traffic, transportation, and high-rise buildings. He has worked with various TxDOT districts and several other municipalities including various cities and counties in Texas. His expertise also includes traffic engineering studies, data-driven safety studies, traffic control and signal design, and transportation planning applications. Mohammed has a solid technical background as a Professional Engineer with a service-focused approach to clients, a can-do attitude toward any problems, and excellent interpersonal skills which set him apart from others.

How does engineering make a difference in the world?
Engineering is one of the key components of human civilization and it starts from the basic of human needs.
If you had to choose a different career, what would it be?
A teacher. I enjoy interacting with students, and I believe that learning as well as imparting knowledge are very noble traits for any human. Additionally, it allows one an opportunity to be a huge positive influence of peoples’ lives.
What hobbies or activities do you enjoy outside of work?
I am actively involved in my community, as the chair of Texas ITE Traffic Bowl as well as being on the board of Al Hadi school non-profit organization and community center.
