As a Senior Project Manager in Walter P Moore's San Francisco office, Nic serves as the west coast practice leader for commercial projects, responsible for developing client relationships and expanding the firm's west coast portfolio. Specializing in structural design, analysis, and project management for structures in seismically active areas around the world, Nic has successfully delivered residential, hospitality, office, and mixed-use highrise projects for more than 15 years. He is a recognized expert in Performance-Based Design (PBD) and earthquake engineering, and has accepted various leadership roles in the development of building code standards, including the seismic provisions of the national concrete building code.

What inspired you to choose your current career path?
My mother had some photographs of the Golden Gate Bridge hanging in her office when I was a child. I remember telling her, "I will build those some day." This eventually morphed into engineering of tall buildings.
Proudest innovation or accomplishment to date (professional or otherwise):
My family is my most amazing accomplishment! Professionally, I'm proud to have been involved in the design of the tallest concrete building on the west coast.
