Cy-Fair School District Ken Pridgeon Stadium Expansion

In Texas, fans take their high school football seriously. After nearly 40 years of serving the Cy-Fair Independent School District football community, Ken Pridgeon Stadium was renovated and upgraded its image.

The existing press box was demolished and replaced with a new two-story press box with elevator access that cantilevers over the existing grandstands. The new press box is clad in brick with twin stair towers and access from the parking and the concourse level.

To enhance fan experience, visitors now have a separate ticket booth and new grand entrance to the stadium. The existing scoreboard was replaced with a new LED version, with space for local advertising.

The upgraded facility will now host varsity football games for the district’s twelve high schools as well as attract non-district events which will provide additional revenue for the district. The facility was built with durable materials to last as the district continues to grow and excel into the future.
