Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center

Daytona Beach
Florida

Built as a replacement for the former Ormond Memorial Hospital, the 135-acre site includes a 13-story patient tower, a five-story medical office building, a wellness center and other medical campus amenities. Services include an emergency department, diagnostic imaging, cardiopulmonary, clinical lab, surgery department, pharmacy, cardiovascular, cath lab, critical care unit, maternity, ICU, PCU, and private patient rooms.

The campus is accented by a 12-story elliptical tower which connects the medical office complex with the hospital via a public concourse. All publicly accessed departments are located off the concourse. On the upper floors, the ellipse serves as the public elevator lobby. In addition, the staff respite/lounge space is located here, providing views of the city and wetlands.
