Garmin Headquarters Parking Garage Expansion

Walter P Moore provided parking consulting services for Garmin’s four-story parking structure as part of their $200 million campus expansion. For this expansion, our team added a second garage with 964 spaces and 4 floors that connects to the existing three-level garage we originally designed. The efficient structural system designed by Walter P Moore for the parking garage is a one-way, six-inch cast-in-place, concrete post-tensioned slab with post-tensioned girders. The typical bay wide spans 20 feet by 56.

In addition to the expansion, a driveway south of the garage was removed so pedestrians could walk into the office building without having to cross a street
with traffic.
