Oklahoma State University Performing Arts Center

The McKnight Center for the Performing Arts will feature technology-rich rehearsal spaces, practice rooms, and an outdoor amphitheater.

It will be located on the south side of the Stillwater campus directly adjacent to an existing parking garage. Therefore, special foundation detailing and planning was required to not influence the existing garage system. In order to support an approximately 45’-0” tall glass curtain wall, Walter P Moore provided a simplified steel cladding backup system design.

The center will be a epicenter for the arts, attracting celebrated national and international programs featuring notable performing arts productions and artists. It will inspire student learning, push educational boundaries and redefine Oklahoma State’s impact in the arts with top notch programming unique to the region.
