University of Florida Biomedical Sciences Building

Located in the heart of the Health Sciences Center at the University of Florida, the Biomedical Sciences Building houses the research and administrative operation of the biomedical engineering, sciences, and animal resources department. The facility provides nearly 100,000 SF of laboratory and research space. In addition, the building houses faculty office and administrative spaces for the biomedical sciences department.

The physical and cultural integration of the Biosciences, Medicine and Biomedical Engineering departments with the BSB building provides synergistic and collaborative environments that establish the University of Florida as a leader in interdisciplinary biomedical science, engineering, technology, translational research and technology transfer. A state-of-the-art vivarium facility in the same building allows university researchers – housed in the BSB and across campus – access to an outstanding biomedical research infrastructure.
