Randy Schulze, PE, PTOE, PTP


Randy is a highly experienced traffic engineer with more than 45 years of experience with projects spanning across the U. S. and abroad. He manages and designs traffic elements of major street and highway projects, including signing, signals, lighting, pavement marking, and traffic control plans. In addition, he has experience with traffic systems management, safety and street improvement studies, area-wide transportation studies, access studies, and traffic impact studies. His career also includes serving as a traffic engineer for two cities, a corporation, a transportation agency, and the Kuwait Ministry of Public Works, Road Administration. Randy is a licensed professional engineer, professional traffic operations engineer, and professional transportation planner and is a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers. He graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.

Why did you choose Walter P Moore?
I investigated the company before applying and had met a few employees at professional society events, and had a good impression. I was very impressed during my interviews, and happy to accept the offer when it came.
What’s your favorite way to pass time?
Walking in the woods.
If you had to choose a different career, what would it be?
Jazz clarinetist.
Who or what inspires you?
People who stand up for their beliefs, even at the risk of their lives or freedom. People like Galileo, Martin Luther, Nelson Mandela.
