With a decade of experience, Sarah is a Principal in Walter P Moore's Houston Structural Group. She concentrates on diversified aspects of structural engineering analysis, design, and management.

Specifically, Sarah specializes in various markets including sports, healthcare, hospitality, and commercial. She utilizes advanced modeling techniques to precisely analyze designs and works closely with both the design team and contractors to ensure solutions work well for all parties. She enjoys working on one-of-a-kind structures that provide unique value to their owners.

In addition, Sarah participates in various firm committees including the Design Management Team, Concrete Design Efficiency Task Force, Kodiak Technical Advisory Committee, and the Digital Practice Champions.

What inspired you to choose your current career path?
When I was a kid, we took a family trip to Rome. My awe of the structures that still remained after so long inspired my interest in buildings.
Who is a role model for you- professional or otherwise?
Tricia Berry was a role model for me in college. As director of the Women in Engineering program at UT, she showed great passion for encouraging and promoting women and girls in STEM fields.
What hobbies or activities do you enjoy outside of work?
Scuba diving! I love to swim among the amazing ocean creatures including fish, rays, sharks, and turtles.
