Charged with expanding Walter P Moore’s presence in the North Texas traffic engineering market and growing the Dallas Traffic team, Stephanie joined the industry in 2005. Her years of experience have made her highly skilled in technical writing, public outreach, program management, and operational analysis. Stephanie brings a multimodal, macroscopic perspective to her work and aims to improve safety and equity for all road users. She has managed projects which range in value from a few thousand to millions of dollars and contributed her services in both the public and private sector across Texas, California, Maryland, and Virginia. She is excited to lend her expertise to transportation, public works, and government projects.

Stephanie earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Rice University and a Master of Science in Transportation Engineering from the University of Southern California. She also enjoys volunteering with professional organizations and is currently a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers and the Greater Dallas/Fort Worth chapter of WTS.

How does what you do make a difference in the world?
Traffic engineers have the awesome responsibility of finding ways to improve safety, access and mobility for clients trying to connect people with other people as well as vital services, employment and recreation.
What is the best advice you have received—so far?
Assume the best in others unless they give you a reason to do otherwise.
If you had to choose a different career, what would it be?
I would be a travel blogger.
