Walter P Moore Congratulates TWO Engineers of the Year

This may be a first for us! This spring, we congratulated TWO of our stellar engineers for being named Engineers of the Year by their respective chapters of the National Society of Professional Engineers.


Principal and Senior Engineer, Jeff Frison (above, right), has been selected as the 2019 TSPE Preston Trail Engineer of the Year. An active member of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE) for almost 13 years, Jeff has held many leadership positions within the Preston Trail Chapter, including President. For the past three years, he served first as State Director and is currently lending expertise as the TSPE Region V Vice President.

Senior Associate and Traffic Engineer, Kurt Rotering (above, left), has been awarded the KSPE Eastern Chapter’s 2019 Young Engineer of the Year. Rotering has been an active member of the Kansas Society of Professional Engineers (KSPE) Eastern Chapter since 2017 and joined the board as Treasurer in 2018. Also active in several industry organizations, Kurt was recently inducted as President for ITS Heartland after previously serving as Secretary and Vice President.
