BIM Intern

Responsibilities

We seek well-prepared students from top schools to expand their education in Building Information Modeling (BIM) through our internship program at Walter P Moore.

  • Model structural systems in Revit to support engineers and project teams
  • Assist with model setup, coordination, and quality control on large-scale projects
  • Contribute to clash detection, documentation, and digital delivery workflows
  • Gain exposure to automation tools such as Dynamo, Rhino, and Grasshopper to support structural design and delivery
  • Collaborate with engineers and BIM managers on architectural projects of all types, including stadiums, healthcare, commercial, and public assembly buildings 
  • Participate in our in-house staff development program

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Enrollment in a BIM program, Structural Engineering or Technology, or related program with exposure to BIM software
  • Proficiency in Revit required; familiarity with Rhino, Grasshopper, Dynamo, or Navisworks is a plus
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Enthusiasm for applying BIM to structural engineering and digital project delivery
  • Flexible scheduling but consistently available a minimum of 20 hours per week
