Electrical Intern – MEP

Responsibilities

The Electrical Intern will support the assessment, planning, and documentation of electrical systems across large real estate and infrastructure projects. The role involves assisting with technical due diligence, cost estimation, compliance checks, and preparation of engineering reports to ensure timely and high‑quality project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Support technical due diligence for electrical systems across large land parcels.
  • Assist in preparing detailed due‑diligence reports, including risk registers.
  • Support the development of block cost estimates for electrical infrastructure services.
  • Help determine electrical infrastructure requirements for client sites and coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.
  • Conduct basic reviews for compliance with EC norms, MoEF guidelines, CFO requirements, NBC 2016, IS codes, and relevant international standards.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on costing, estimation, and feasibility assessments.
  • Produce and maintain drawings and documentation using AutoCAD.
  • Participate actively in team discussions and contribute proactively to project tasks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in electrical infrastructure for real estate or infrastructure projects.
  • Basic understanding of electrical infrastructure systems and site‑level requirements.
  • Working knowledge of applicable standards and regulatory guidelines (EC, MoEF, Local CFO, NBC 2016, IS codes).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and proactive problem‑solving skills.
