Graduate Engineer - Civil

Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering calculations and prepare detailed cost estimates.
  • Prepare engineering drawings, layouts, and drafting documents.
  • Assist in the development of project plans, technical reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Collect, review, and research utility data and existing records.
  • Support design, production, and general project coordination tasks.
  • Assist in the design of site development plans, including site layout, grading, and utility systems.
  • Present site plans to permitting agencies and reviewers to obtain review and approval.
  • Review and annotate PDF drawings using scaled dimensions and area takeoffs in Bluebeam Revu.
  • Coordinate preparation and submission of construction documents with reviewing agencies to obtain permits and address special requests.

Qualifications

  • EIT required upon employment or within the first 6 months from start
  • 0-3 years of industry experience
  • Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and MicroStation is a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong client-service attitude with ability to multi-task and accomplish multiple priorities
