Synopsis
Construction Defects from the Ground Up – Parts 1 & 2 are designed for construction DEFECT claims adjusters and attorneys who want to strengthen their knowledge from the foundation upward. Part 1 walks through how a typical building is constructed, covering trade sequencing, common terminology, and the materials and equipment most often used in the field. Part 2 builds on that foundation by breaking down construction defect liability through real-world examples, photos of commonly alleged defects, and insights into how and why these issues occur. Together, the courses give insurance professionals the tools to recognize alleged defects, understand their causes, and evaluate whether proposed repair methods and costs are appropriate.
