Floodplain Administrator Round Table

Floodplain Administrators (FPA) are on the front line of floodplain management in our communities. Many of the critical duties of FPAs have a tremendous impact on community flood risk, from permitting development, enforcing regulations, making maps available to the public, administering map changes, and conducting community outreach. This panel discussion will explore emerging issues and best practices and leave time for audience questions. The panel will include FPAs from four different communities from around the state. Tentative panelists include FPAs from City of Fort Worth, City of Houston, El Paso County, and City of Plano.
