Overview

Walter P Moore has promoted Dylan Richard, PE, to Managing Director, Structures, in Tampa. In this role, he will oversee structural engineering services in the region, supporting delivery of complex projects and the firm’s continued presence in the Tampa market. He will work closely with Richard Temple, PE, who will continue as Regional Director of Structural Engineering for Florida.

Dylan is recognized for translating client vision into practical, well-executed structural solutions. He collaborates closely with architects, contractors, and owners to address complex challenges while maintaining design intent. He has also played a key role in advancing the firm’s use of Building Information Modeling to improve coordination and project efficiency.

Dylan’s expertise spans sports, education, commercial, healthcare, cultural facilities, and more. His portfolio includes a variety of complex projects such as Benchmark International Arena renovations, Raymond James Stadium renovations, University of Florida Heavener Hall, the University of South Florida Judy Genshaft Honors College, Avion Park Office Building, Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Research and Education Facility, and the Tampa Museum of Art.

Temple will retain responsibility for structural operations in Tampa, Miami, and Orlando, statewide business development, and key client relationships. With a strong record of recruitment and mentorship, Temple will remain an integral part of the Florida leadership team.
