Horvilleur, PE (1954-2002), an inspirational leader at Walter P Moore for over two decades, the award recognizes those who carry on his legacy of leadership and engineering excellence.
The award was announced by selection committee chair Karim Zulfiqar, Senior Principal and Managing Director, during the annual Structures Group Operations meeting. The award was formally presented by Adam Johnson, Senior Principal and Managing Director of the Austin office.
Barton is a valuable contributor in Walter P Moore’s Austin, Texas office and the firm’s Structures Group. She regularly helps colleagues tackle challenging design problems using advanced digital tools and has played an instrumental role in delivering high-profile projects—including stadiums, government facilities, and hospitals—by overcoming demanding technical design challenges.
