Ashpica is a Managing Director of the New York Structures Group at Walter P Moore. She has over 16 years of experience in structural engineering and specializes in developing innovative structural concepts and delivery of integrated solutions involving planning, architecture, specialty consultants, and contractors. 

She has led the structural design of numerous award-winning domestic and international projects with a focus on high-rise, long-span, and specialty structures. She has broad experience including projects at all scales and a variety of market sectors. Ashpica has authored multiple technical papers and is an active member of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC). She is currently an adjunct professor at New York University (NYU) and has previously taught at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Ashpica is also a registered professional engineer in California and New York and a registered structural engineer in Illinois.
