The Managing Director of the Orlando office, Joe is a structural engineer with over 20 years of experience in a diverse range of projects. His specialties include entertainment, aviation, and hospitality projects, and he has particular technical expertise in long-span structures, complex structural steel framing, and post-tensioned concrete. Joe has a passion for 3D modeling and the use of BIM in the communication and production of projects. He oversaw the implementation of Revit Structure at Walter P Moore starting in 2005, and is currently deeply involved in the firm’s now wide-spread use of parametric modeling. He believes in learning by doing and has proficiency in a wide range of 3D modeling and graphics programs. 

He is a registered engineer in Florida as well as eight other states and is a Florida Threshold Inspector. Joe received his Doctorate in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and his Master and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee.
