Joe is a Project Manager that focuses on the physical security of structures, security engineering, blast resistant design, and force protection. As Walter P Moore’s leader in secure design, he has applied his specialization to the structural design of many federal government facilities, industrial parks, airports, and sports stadiums. He is proficient in a variety of blast software programs including WinGard, LSDyna, Ansys, BlastX, 3DBlast, and many others. He received his Master of Science in Structural Engineering from The University of Texas in Austin and his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from North Dakota State University in Fargo. Joe is a licensed professional engineer in Texas.

Genuine, loyal, and curious. I think curiosity drives me forward as an engineer.

…to help clients and project teams understand some aspects of their project they may not be familiar with.
What’s the best advice you’ve received—so far?
…it is ok to not have all the answers immediately. There are many great engineers [here] that are eager to help develop solutions to unique and complicated scenarios.
