Kurt continues to elevate the firm’s position in the national marketplace as founder and a leading member of Walter P Moore’s Healthcare Community of Practice, a virtual group of the firm’s foremost healthcare project delivery experts. He provides strategic oversight to the firm’s efforts in the Healthcare/Science & Technology markets and stays well-informed of critical issues facing top healthcare providers today. His expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) allows him to present on the topic at conferences nationally as well as co-author several articles on structural engineering in the healthcare market.

In addition to serving on the Board of Directors at WPM, he is past chair and a current member of the firm’s Business Development Steering Committee. Texas A&M University’s Department of Construction has invited him to be a three-time Guest Lecturer on the topic of Lean Project Delivery. Kurt has also presented on Lean and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) at the Rice Building Institute. He received his Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering before earning his Master of Science in Structural Engineering, both from Iowa State University. Kurt holds a professional engineering license in Texas and is a LEED® Accredited Professional.

I enjoy building and growing relationships for the firm across the US in the healthcare market and expanding our footprint. Healthcare is full of talented people with only the best of intentions, who take great pride in creating spaces that enhance caregiving. The broader importance of our role in the healthcare market.
