With a focus on providing creative and efficient solutions, Luis aims to extend the service life of clients’ assets and assist in restoring structures after catastrophic events or structural failures. He specializes in the analysis and design of buildings, including seismic evaluation and retrofit, and has led numerous projects evaluating structures after earthquakes, hurricanes, and flooding for insurance companies and building owners. He also implements non-destructive testing (NDE) tools for condition assessments on various types of structures.

Experience

Luis has dedicated more than 15 years to designing, assessing, and repairing numerous projects for both private and government sectors in Panama, Latin America, and the United States. He is highly skilled in evaluating the condition of existing structures and implementing practical and cost-effective repair strategies. Luis has led several assessments after CAT events, including design and cost estimations for repairs. His expert opinion is sought after in the field, reflecting his deep understanding and proficiency in structural and forensic engineering.
