Shripad is one of India’s leading transport planners, with over 15 years of experience working on mobility planning projects funded by central and state governments. His expertise in four-stage modeling for macro-level studies and micro-simulation for traffic analysis has led him to his current role as Head of Traffic and Transport Planning for the India office. Driven by a passion for advancing sustainable mobility, Shripad leverages innovative modeling techniques and emerging technologies to address traffic challenges at both micro and macro scales. He works closely with his team to deliver data-driven, practical, and forward-thinking transport solutions.

Experience

Shripad has extensive technical expertise in addressing urban mobility challenges through advanced traffic forecasting, modeling, and simulation tools. His approach emphasizes scientifically planned mobility networks that cater to all road users including public transport, private vehicles, and pedestrians while minimizing environmental impacts. Over the past 15 years, he has contributed to numerous projects across the United States, the United Kingdom, and India. Shripad possesses in-depth knowledge of industry-leading software such as VISUM, TransCAD, VISSIM, Vistro, Viswalk, and Synchro, enabling him to deliver data-driven and sustainable transport solutions.
