Melissa Shea

Melissa is a Principal and Project Manager in Walter P Moore’s Structures Group. Based in Washington, D.C., she has been with the firm since 2009 and specializes in virtual design and construction techniques. She manages project delivery and coordination, providing ongoing guidance and insight into the design process, and works closely with both the design team and contractors to ensure solutions transfer seamlessly from ideas in a model into the built world. Melissa enjoys finding elegant, buildable solutions to make a client’s designs a reality while also creating the most value for owners. 

Melissa’s expertise can be found on several high-profile projects such as VCUH Children’s Hospital Expansion, VCUH Adult Outpatient Pavilion, New Orleans Airport Concourse A, and MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital and Women’s Pavilion.
