As the first engineering firm to be awarded all structural services for the SAFETY Act, Walter P Moore provides its Secure Design Services, which is a suite of structural engineering services that provide venue operators the ability to identify, understand, and mitigate vulnerabilities to specific terrorist attacks threat vectors that target the structural integrity of a venue or people around and within a venue.

Services
The Secure Design Services are comprised of the following three (3) core services
Threat, Vulnerability, and Risk Assessment (TVRA) Services
The TVRA Services is an established methodology to identify risk exposure, which serves as the basis for development and implementation of sound security and business continuity strategies to further secure a venue and its occupants.
Secure Design Mitigation Services (SDM) Services
The SDM Services are comprised of specific secure design mitigation strategies designed to mitigate TVRA-identified risks by designing hardening elements to eliminate or mitigate vulnerabilities to identified threats for a diverse portfolio of varied venues.
Construction Administration Services
We provides Construction Administration Services to verify that the hardening elements are constructed as intended in the designs. The Construction Administration Services includes performing and documenting oversight and quality assurance of third-party vendors’ construction
