VIRGINIA

Virginia Commonwealth University Adult Outpatient Pavilion |2023 ACEC Virginia Grand Award winner

VCU's new Adult Outpatient Pavilion provides an industry-leading experience for patients, staff, and Richmond’s community. The Pavilion consolidated more than two dozen outpatient programs and the Massey Cancer Center into one state-of-the-art 1,040,000-square-foot facility with integrated parking offering 1,100 spaces. Our team utilized the grade changes across the site to provide two entrance levels and maximize on-site queuing space thus minimizing impacts on the busy adjacent streets. Walter P Moore integrated engineering ingenuity with industry-advancing digital workflows to solve technical challenges and maintain an accelerated schedule.
